I am a venter. I always have been a talker, from the time I was able to, really.

When I was 2, my family was on a road trip and us kids were being too loud, so my mom told us not to talk for awhile.

(Moment of silence)

From my car seat: "Buzz. Buzz uz. Buzz buzz buzz. Uzz Uzz Uzz. Buzz."

Point being, I have always figured things out by talking or writing. I used to have friends that would time me to see how long I could be quiet for... I don't think I ever broke 5 minutes. At some point, I realized that my poor roommates and friends were hitting sensory overload, so I decided to expand my horizons and see if writing a blog would help me organize all my thoughts a little better before it overflowed.

My hope is that this blog will become a Psalm 143 for me. If you haven't read this Psalm, I would advise it ASAP! Basically, it is a very raw Psalm from David. He expresses exactly how he feels before God, and it isn't always pretty, but returns to God's faithfulness to his promises in the past, and continued trust that he will do so in the future!
